A new song cause I don't have much to write about

I’ve been staying with an older dutch couple a little north of Wellington redoing the interior of my van. Been a nice crash course in carpentry and I’m grateful for their hospitality on this side quest. shout out wwoof. Taking the ferry south on Sunday. I’ve got a brief gig picking grapes for winery in the mountains lined up.

Anyways here’s an iPhone demo I recorded by the beach the week before. I wrote it on a plane a while back after listening to a MJ Lenderman record. Played it at an second open mic last week and flipped one line and decided I’m happy with it.

After playing it out last Thursday (after that demo was tracked) I fixed the Mona Lisa lyric. But I overall liked the ambience of the take listening back this afternoon and decided why not share it.
